We absolutely hammered the snook!  Though young, being a third generation guide on the Bay, Mike really knew his trade.  His equipment was first class.  He moved about his beautiful 24 foot center counsel, keeping the three of us, my daughter, grand-daughter at 11 years of age, and myself busy catching fish until our arms ached.  His intelligence, personality and fishing wisdom clearly went beyond his years, and, I do know what I am talking about.  As a fisherman and guide for over 50 years in the Northland, coupled with over 30 years of college teaching in the social sciences, I think that I’m a fairly good judge of Mike’s attributes.

Clearly, each visit to sunny Florida will include a day or two on the Bay with Mike, even though my daughter and grand-daughter caught bigger fish than me!
